1st Year Student Testimonies
NPTS November 2019
In November 2019, Tim Sullivan taught for two weeks at the Nepal Presbytarian Theological Seminary in Kathmandu. The first-year students heard his classes on "If Ye Do These Things, Ye Shall Never Fall" and "The Passion Week of Christ." The second-year students heard his class on The Epistle to the Romans. The third-year students heard his classes on Joshua, The Epistle to the Philippians, and Ruth. All the students sat together for his presentation on the book of Acts. Here are some of their testimonies, condensed and edited for clarity.

My name is Rahil Ghale. I am 19 years old. These classes will help me to stay in Christ and be a good minister. They really were a blessing for me, and I came to know that reading the Bible thoroughly is very important. The teaching on the Passion Week made me feel like I was there at the time of the crucifixion, seeing it with my own eyes. |

My name is Nahemyah Ekten. I am 17 years old and I am from Damak, Jhapa. These classes were very helpful to me because I learned more about what a Christian should be like, what qualities he/she must have. Due to a lack of proper knowledge of these things, many churches and Christians are collapsing. It would be good if we carry these teachings to every local church in Nepal. |

My name is Muna Rai. I am 18 years old and I come from Okhaldhunga, eastern part of Nepal which lies in the lap of Sagarmatha, the place of Mt. Everest. These classes will help us go forward spiritually in Christ. I feel myself so precious and beautiful because God chose me to learn these things. We are so happy and appreciate you, and hope in coming years we learn many things from the Word of God through you. |

My name is Puja Gurung. I am 20 years old and I come from Bhaktapur. Pastor Tim clarified many things through individual pictures and Bible verses. I would like to say to his church and supporters that you people are lucky to have him as a preacher and pastor. He has the ability to erase all your doubts through the Word of God. |

My name is Jonathan Tamang. I am 20 years old, and I come from the hill/mountain area Dhading. Through Tim sirs class, I came to know many things point by point. His teachings are so different from other teachers. Many teachers use outside examples but he goes from verse to verse connecting them. There is little of this kind of teacher. I felt so blessed. My name if Prabu Thandar. I am 20 years old and I am from Biratnagar in the eastern part of Nepal. Really it is a privilege for me to join the classes by Pastor Tim. I came to know how to live a life pleasing to God, and I got clarification about many things I didn't understand. I am so thankful to his supporters and those who remember him in prayer. From his teachings I and my friends are going to do a good job in our villages. Your prayer and support is not going in vain! |
